I eat a plant-based diet because I believe that it is the best way to achieve lasting health. Here are som very helpful resources that helped me through my journey to plant-based wellness.

Dr. Mcdougall: This link has to go first, because it is the most influential. Dr. Macdougall is an MD who has helped thousands of people heal themselves over the years. He has successfully reversed heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and so many other diseases over the years. He is very scientifically-minded and bases everything he does on research. And if you ever see an article or journal study claiming anything other than the plant-based diet, you can bet that Dr. Mcdougall will set the record straight. He has a passion that is contagious and a huge heart. He actually answers his emails personally! I love Dr. Macdougall and I hope that you can learn from him as much as I have.

Dr. Greger: Another plant-based MD who has this GREAT website highlighting the latest nutritional studies. He does not only post about plant-based nutrition, but other alternative health studies as well. Check out his video on lavender essential oil and migraines! If you have some time on your hands, please PLEASE watch his lectures on the top 15 causes of death and the top reasons for doctors visits. These videos are longer, but are pure gold.

Happy Herbivore: I can't have a page of plant-based inspiration without giving a shout-out to Lindsay Nixon at Happy Herbivore. She is so upbeat and inspirational. Her cookbooks are rocking! I get a lot of my culinary inspiration from her so be sure to check out her website!
